The Cyprus national 4way formation team trained in BadLipspringer in Germany in August 2006, just before the World Parachuting Championships. Team members were: George Panagopoulos (coach & team leader), Demetris Demetriou, Efrinos Efrem, Charis Katsafados and Stavros Kypragoras (cameraman).

The World Parachuting Championships took place in Gera, Germany on 5-11 August 2006. The Cyprus 4way national team participated in the 4way formation skydiving championships. The competitions took place in very cold and cloudy weather and only half of the jumps were completed. The Demo team “Velos” participated in the event “ Sports against drugs” on 17 September 2006 which took place at the Finikoudes beach in Larnaca.

The Cyprus Championships (4way skydiving formations) took place in Dhekelia on 21-22 October 2006.
